We were privileged to be featured in a story in the National Post newspaper:

“I always say, the taste is in the squeak,” says Elmeda Weber, president of Kitchen Kuttings in Elmira, Ont. “As soon as you refrigerate them, they will get more firm and not as squeaky. I love just biting into them and they’ve got that fresh squeak – then you know that they’ve just come off the vat.”

Cheese curds are a big seller for Kitchen Kuttings. They get shipments from St-Albert Cheese Co-Op in Eastern Ontario twice a week so they can sell never-refrigerated curds at the St. Jacob’s Farmer’s Market on Thursdays and Saturdays.
